¡Hola y Bienvenidos! My name is Kevin and I am a tour guide here in Tortuguero, Costa Rica. I've lived here for over 20 years and have been a tour guide for 10. When I was 16 years old, I moved to Tortuguero and started to learn how to give tours from my stepfather. After working on cruise ships and in restaurants, I decided to pursue my tour guide certification and have loved my work ever since!

 

My favorite tour to take people on is the Turtle Tour because they are my favorite animal and I love seeing people's excitement when experiencing the tour for the first time. People come from all over the world to see Tortuguero and I get to share with them this place that I love so much. All of our tours are eco-friendly to protect and preserve the beautiful wildlife of Tortuguero.

 

I love my job as a tour guide and I am excited to finally be running my own tour guide business. Family has always been a priority for me and I want the people that come to visit Tortuguero to feel like they have a family here when they leave. The other tour guides that I work with are like brothers to me — in fact, one of them is my brother!
